Back to School Extravaganza - Saturday

If you need assistance with school supplies, our annual Back-to-School Extravaganza event for families in need is planned for Saturday, July 28, from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM, at Tattnall County High School.  At times, the line can get long so you may not want to bring very small children along.
If you can't attend this event and need assistance, please let your school counselor know.  Our school counselors and our Family Connections Coordinator identify and work with local organizations to provide supplies for children throughout the school year.

Open House Events

Open House for all for elementary, middle, and high schools is Thursday, August 2nd.   Times (click here) are posted on the Tattnall Schools website.  Watch our website (www.tattnallschools.org) for additional communications about other special orientations and events.
Tattnall County High School is hosting Ninth Grade First on Thursday, August 2nd, at 8:15-10:45 AM at TCHS.

REGISTRATION

If you have a child who will be new to our school system this year, please register for school before Aug. 3.  This will avoid delays in class scheduling and help your child have the best first-day experience possible. Our school offices are open weekdays. Registration forms may be picked up from the school registrar.
If your child was a student with us last year, or if you have already registered your child during pre-kindergarten or kindergarten registration, your child is already registered for school.  If you have moved during the summer and will be attending a different school in the county, please notify your former and your new school.  Student information forms will be sent home with students during the first week of school for you to update and return by your child to school.  These documents are very important for school records and communication.

Safety and Code of Conduct

When you receive your Tattnall County Schools Student Handbook, please read it, and be sure to review all of the safety protocols and code of conduct information with your child.  Visit our website for additional details for parents and student information.
We look forward to a great school year yielding high academic performance among healthy and happy students.
