HELP EVERY CHILD FIND GREAT BOOKS TO READ THIS SUMMER

“Find a Book, Georgia” is a fun and easy way to select books based on a child’s Lexile measure and interests. You can use this free search tool to build custom book lists for readers at all levels, and then locate your selections at the local public library.

Announcement for Document Requests
Tattnall County Schools will charge $3.00 (cash only) per document request for document/information not customarily provided by the school or school system. This will include, but will not be limited to, requests for copies of Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards, Immunization Records, Letters certifying student is enrolled or student is a resident of county, Attendance Letters, Documents needed for Tax Preparation.

Homeschool Reporting
Homeschool reporting is transferred from local school systems to the Georgia Department of Education beginning July 1, 2012.    Click here to learn more

All parents are invited to the Annual Title I Meeting at the Tattnall County Board of Education on Monday, May 13th at 2:00 P.M. We will evaluate/revise the LEA Title I Plan (CLIP), and the LEA Parental Involvement Policy. We will also discuss the Comprehensive Needs Assessment for the Migrant Program. We will look at Migrant testing data and services provided by this program as we plan for FY14.

Please feel free to download, print a copy, and complete with your suggestions the parent survey entitled "Parent Survey for Comprehensive LEA/School Improvement Plan" located below.
The survey can be mailed to each school or dropped off at the front office by Wednesday, May 8th. The link provides a form in both English and Spanish.
